Twilight fans would surely enjoy the New Moon trailer - it has a lot to offer: romantic scenes featuring the two lovers, an enchanting party filled with gorgeous looking vampires, a tearful farewell, danger from up and down, and a surprisingly agile werewolf! I remember when I first saw the Twilight trailer, I was thrilled! But I find this new trailer rather more impressive! - - -
- - - I remember asking the ladies @Twilight Lexicon what they think about New Moon turning into a movie: As a sign of what's more to come, news about New Moon spread like wildfire across the net. How would this second novel transform into a movie? Do you think, like some other fans, that this second book, will be much harder to film? Lorie Joffs: I think what will be very cool about New Moon is that with movies you can explore alternate POV. You can see what goes on in Edward's head, you could see him go to the Volturi. I think that would be fascinating. I think on a technical end it will be harder in that I don't know that you can fake Italy in the Pacific Northwest, but the same compelling story is there, and you get major character development with Jacob. Definitely getting a Jacob POV will be cool.
Laura Byrne Cristiano: ... But certainly the most complicated aspect of filming New Moon, I think, would be the werewolves. We're talking about teenage boys morphing in mid air into HUGE wolves right in front of Bella's eyes. That's tough to do realistically. It will be interesting to see how they pull that off. Come to think of it, Laura was right on target regarding the wolves, as you can see from the trailer, and I did the interview way, way back! I'll be posting the whole interview very soon! And so, what's in store for us? Says IMDb about the new movie: After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits. Twilight fever is here once again!
